Alex Stone came to Bard in the summer of 2013. He became Bard's head coach in October of 2014.
Alex graduated from Union College in 2013 with a degree in Biology. He played four years of lacrosse at Union, helping the Dutchmen to one Liberty League championship and two NCAA Tournament appearances. He was a crucial part of Union's trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2011, and the Elite Eight in 2012. He was named to the All-Liberty League Team twice and was Union's captain in his senior year.
Alex was a Head Coach for the East Coast Lacrosse Club in Edison, N.J., in the summers of 2012 and 2013, and has worked several camps and clinics.
He is a native of Cranford, N.J.
