BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Bard College men's cross country team placed seventh on Saturday at the Mountaineer Invitational at Southern Vermont College.

Junior Josh Tanner (Fairbanks, AK) was Bard's top finisher, placing 24th overall. Freshman Jay Lawrence (Red Walls Falls, MN) was next for Bard in 36th, and freshman Eric Reed (Gallatin, NY) was close behind in 38th.

The Raptors will next participate in the Mount Saint Mary Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 2.
